Drinks Philosophy
Each of our bars provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere for locals, visiting guests or weary travellers. You will discover we are passionate about craft producers and particularly showcasing those from Scotland.
We currently have one of the best and most extensive craft beer, gin and malt whisky lists on the Clyde Coast, along with an ever growing selection of other spirits. Working closely with local craft brewers, distillers and suppliers ensures you have a wide range and ever changing selection of drinks to try. We serve hand pulled ales from continually changing casks, alongside our Guest Tap.
If you would prefer a glass of wine, our list offers something for everyone – from an easy drinking tipple to specially sourced bottles from some of our favourite producers.

The warmth of the fire and amber glow from our shelves of malt whiskies create a relaxing and enjoyable environment to meet friends for a drink and nibbles. During the week we welcome those having a catch up over coffee, a glass of wine or a casual pint of real ale. Come the weekend, there is a buzz about the bar, as friends meet to socialise and unwind. To add to the atmosphere, you will often find our local folk band playing the fiddle and jamming.

The hub of the village and with a wee Scottish pub vibe, the Elbow Room is the perfect place to enjoy a pint of beer or malt any day of the week. Our pub is full of village charm and with banter aplenty, you will always find a lively and sociable atmosphere. Enjoy casual pub food or choose from our full menu if you would like to eat in more relaxed surroundings. Four legged friends are also welcome, and we will make sure there is a drink and special treat for them too!

Our hotel is the heart and soul of the village, and as lovers of all things social, food and drink related, we have a full calendar of events for locals and visitors to enjoy. Whether it be our Whisky Club, a Gin Tasting, a Guest Craft Brewer Tasting or simply a good old Scottish Folk Night, we will make sure you have always got something to look forward to!
